Originally from Connecticut, David's passion for comic books and production art led him to Carnegie Mellon University, a degree in fine art, and an initial career as a storyboard artist for Marvel and Disney. His graphic and illustrative drawing style quickly brought him to the attention of the broadcast design community. Here, David's traditional art and design skills in combination with his proficiency on the computer had him creating award-winning network show packages, commercials, and content for clients such as Fox Sports, Discovery Channel, Disney Channel, ABC Family, ESPN, and the UFC.
In 2004, David joined DIRECTV as Sr. Creative Director of On-Air, where he spent the next 5 years building the award-winning in-house studio DESIGN SPACE. Working with clients such as the NFL, NASCAR and MLB, David designed and directed dozens of spots, bringing industry accolades to both he and the department.
Currently, David works as a freelance creative, looking for projects in which he may utilize his diverse background and unique visual sensibility to create innovative and memorable spots.
